Andrew V. Scherz is a Senior Product Manager at Epson tasked with developing the market for on demand industrial color label printers. Andy is a veteran of the industrial label printing market with over 20 years’ experience most recently at Epson and before that at Printronix as Director of Product Marketing. He holds a bachelor’s of science in electrical engineering and a master’s in business administration, both from California State University, Long Beach.

Labeling is a critical part of the product supply chain that continues to grow in complexity. New GHS regulations exacerbate this trend with additional demands for color icons and increased durability. This presentation will show how new color printing technology can lower costs and simplify label creation increasing efficiency while successfully tackling the new GHS challenges.
