Parchem was just the spring board for this highly acclaimed leader who established a family of companies, all of which are thriving within their own right.  Parchem Nutrition was launched in 2002 and provides specialty raw materials for the Nutrition and Pharmaceutical Industries.  In 2013, Navux Commerce Solutions was formed, a company which integrates advanced technology into business frameworks to drive sustainability for small, mid and large corporations. Lastly, his passion for art and science manifested itself as the founder and owner of The Mahlstedt Gallery, an international contemporary gallery located in Westchester County.  

As a transformational leader, Ephraim’s passion and commitment to the community span beyond the businesses he created.  This is illustrated by the number of organizations and boards he is currently actively involved. At present, he is a trustee for the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, a member of Tiger 21, United States Energy Security Council, National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD), Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) and the Drug, Chemical and Associated Technologies DCAT). Additionally, a selected evaluator and mentor for the Columbia School of Business and contributor to the Chemical Education Foundation and New Rochelle School District.

Currently, Ephraim resides in New Rochelle, New York with his wife Oshi and two young daughters Aya and Ela.

Randall Willis is the Director of North American Operations and Supply Chain for Axalta Coating Systems, formerly DuPont Performance Coatings.  North America Operations is comprised of seven plant sites plus six distribution centers across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico employing approximately 1000 people supporting all four business segments.   

Randall joined DuPont Performance Coatings in 2007 to lead the European Supply Chain Organization while working at the Cologne, Germany office.   He repatriated to Wilmington to lead the Americas Supply Chain in 2010.   DuPont Performance Coatings was purchased by the Carlyle Group in February of 2013.  

Prior to joining DuPont Performance Coatings, Randall held various Supply Chain and Operations leadership roles in DuPont’s Packaging and Industrial Polymers.   Randall joined DuPont via the Engineering Field program filling various roles in Process Engineering, Contract Manufacturing, and Technical Leadership for Packaging and Industrial Polymers, Engineering Polymers, and White Pigments and Mineral Products.

Elliot M. Wolf is the Production and Supply Risk Management and Compliance Lead at Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC (Greensboro, NC; Email: Elliot.Wolf@syngenta.com), where he is responsible for risk management of seed-production and chemical-formulation operations in North America. His work focuses on risk management, operations research, supply chain management, and chemical process safety. Previously, he was a corporate risk engineer and a development engineer with NOVA Chemicals, Inc., and a manufacturing technology engineer with DuPont Dow Elastomers, LLC. He earned a BS from the University of Pittsburgh and an MS from the University of Delaware, both in chemical engineering, and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. He is a member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences.

Stephen Klejst

StephenKlejst currently serves as the Deputy Managing Director at the NationalTransportation Safety Board. In this position, he supports the ManagingDirector in the day-to day operation of the agency. Prior to his promotion to DeputyManaging Director, Mr. Klejst served as the Director of the Office of Railroad,Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Investigations. In this capacity, he wasresponsible for directing the investigation of accidents that occur onrailroads, pipelines and accidents involving hazardous materials. Mr. Klejstjoined the Safety Board in November of 2008 as a Railroad Accident Investigatorwhere he served as the Investigator-In-Charge of both major and regional investigations.

Priorto joining the Safety Board, Mr. Klejst served over 30 years with NJ TransitRail Operations and Conrail in both freight and passenger railroad operations. AsNJT’s Deputy General Manager, he was responsible for accident investigation,regulatory compliance, employee occupational health and safety, passengersafety, quality assurance/quality control and all technical and operations training.Before his promotion to Deputy General Manager, he served as the Director ofTraining, Manager of Labor Relations, Manager of Technical Training and RoadForeman of Engines. Mr. Klejst began his railroad career with Conrail in 1978 wherehe worked as a trainman, conductor and locomotive engineer.

Duringhis career, Mr. Klejst was an active member of several American PublicTransportation Association (APTA) committees including the Rail SafetyCommittee, Commuter Rail Safety Subcommittee and Human Factors Subcommittee. Hewas instrumental in the development of APTA’s first Manual for the Developmentof System Safety Program Plans for Commuter Railroads and the development of uniformtraining standards for commuter railroads to support the implementation of the FederalRailroad Administration’s (FRA) Qualified Maintenance Person regulation. Mr.Klejst also served on the steering committee for the FRA pilot project on CloseCall/Near Miss incident reporting and as the chairman of a TransportationResearch Board technical panel on alertness and fatigue mitigation strategies forthe transit industry.

Mr.Klejst received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University ofPennsylvania and a Master of Science degree in Management from the StevensInstitute of Technology.

Jeffery Morris is Deputy Director of the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics, which regulates industrial chemicals under the Toxic Substances Control Act as well as administers the Pollution Prevention Act. Jeff has worked as a federal public servant for 25 years. In his 22-year career at EPA, Jeff has held a number of positions across the agency, including serving as acting director of the Office of Science Policy and as National Program Director for Nanotechnology Research.

Anthony H. “Tony” Murray III joined the U.S. Department of Transportation (US DOT), Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration in August of 2000. He works out of the Eastern Region Field Office located in West Trenton, NJ.  As a member of the Hazardous Materials Safety Assistance Team (HMSAT), he is available to help businesses find the resources needed to comply with the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) and to provide compliance assistance to Federal, state and local governments and the private sector.

Tony is a 1976 graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY) Maritime College earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Transportation.  He received a commission as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy Reserve and a Third Mate’s license issued by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) to sail as a deck office in the U.S. Merchant Marine.  He then sailed onboard U.S. flag ships for 15 years and advanced his merchant marine license to “Master Unlimited” and also holds the rank of Captain U.S. Navy Reserve (retired).
Captain Murray began his Federal civil service career in December 1991 as a Marine Transportation Specialist for the U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command (MSC). After 6 years with MSC, Murray transferred to the U.S. Coast Guard’s National Maritime Center in Arlington, Virginia, where he administered programs related to the certification, training and licensing of U.S. Merchant Marine officers and seamen.  After leaving USCG and before coming to the US DOT, Murray spent 2 years with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) as a Marine Accident Investigator in the NTSB Office of Marine Safety. 

Tony lives in Doylestown, PA with his wife Mary Lou and daughter Grace.

Richard Boulware, MBA, CPSM, was recently appointed to the role of Director, Global Logistics. In his new role, Rich will collaborate with procurement, planning and operations to streamline inbound, outbound and intercompany material flows delivering improved levels of cost control, process governance and trade compliance. In his 12 years with IFF, Mr. Boulware has held various positions in IFF’s Supply Chain organization. Mr. Boulware has been an active leader in post-merger supply chain strategy, strategic sourcing, SAP master-data management and global supplier relationship management.

Over his career, he has held roles in engineering and materials management in the pharmaceuticals industry and in software development and program management for the automotive industry during the dot com boom. Mr. Narayanan has been in the international logistics field for over 35 years, a major part of it with the NOL Group of Companies. He has been involved with operations turn-around, change management, contracts and procurement, strategic planning, business development, logistics solutions, sales and marketing, and client relations. He started his career in the merchant navy as a seagoing officer. He moved into ship management, and then into the commercial world of logistics.

Dave brings forty years of experience in consulting, education, supply chain operations and coaching which enables him to address value chain learning challenges. He has lead major coaching; consulting and enterprise applied learning initiatives involving the transformation of supply chain models on a global basis. Randy Speight is Managing Director of CHEMTREC®, a division of the American Chemistry Council.

Randy has served with the American Chemistry Council since 1991.  During his career with the Council, he has served in various positions during which he worked with leading chemical companies to develop industry-wide safety and performance improvement initiatives and as an industry advocate to public policy makers on chemical industry transportation issues.  In 1998 Randy was charged to lead the Council’s CHEMTREC organization and, in 2004, turned his attention exclusively to CHEMTREC to assist industry in addressing emergency response challenges. 

Prior to joining the Council, Randy served for more than 20 years as a U.S.  Coast Guard Officer during which he specialized in marine safety and environmental protection. 

Randy holds a BS Degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
