Jason Miner is a senior analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence, a unique research platform that provides context on industries, companies, and government policy, available on the Bloomberg Professional Service at BI . Miner leads the global chemicals and agricultural inputs team.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Mr. Miner was an equity analyst at Deutsche Bank and led coverage across North American fertilizer, specialty and basic chemicals producers. He received an Honorable Mention in Chemicals from Institutional Investor in 2009, and was ranked the No. 2 stock picker in U.S. chemicals by The Financial Times/Starmine in 2010.

Mr. Miner began his career as an industrial engineer serving middle-market private equity portfolio companies. As a member of New York Consulting Partners and then Archstone Consulting (now Hackett Group), Mr. Miner led procurement, inventory planning and manufacturing redesign projects for clients across a wide range of industries and sizes.

Mr. Miner is a CFA charter holder with an MBA from Columbia University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana, and the University of Manchester.
